My Source of Survival

I was asked by Robin Pope to write an essay(I'm writing more of an outline) on how to to start a ministry. LOL...yes ME! This will go into the packet everyone will receive at the Territorial Youth Worker's Conference. Crazy! At first, I was wondering if she emailed the wrong person, but now I'm really getting into writing it. Mainly because God is teaching me through having to perform this task. Cool how God works! :-) Anyhoo...so I'm using Nehemiah as my example and am working through the prayer portion. Prayer has become my vital line in recent months. It has always been my source of conversation with God and intercession for friends and family, but never was it my source of survival.

Now it is! It has to be!! While writing this part, I came up with this little ditty:

Prayer needs to be your preparation, your constant mindset as you go about [your day], your “compass” to make sure you are always going the right direction, and even your fall-back plan when you seem to be constantly hitting walls.
Good stuff and a good reminder to myself. Hopefully also to whomever actually read this blog.
